She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Beebe and Howard Beebe; and her grandfather Joe. She is survived by: her children, Joseph, Wayne, Veronica (Dimples), Regena, Howard Jr., Wilbert (Wimpy), Michael (Lammy), Sherwood (Woody), Darlene and Georgie; her husband Wilfred McDougall; her children, Verna and Dan; her grandson Zach; her children, Curt (Gayle), Brian, Don (Valerie), Pam, Gordon, Ellie and Patti; her grandchildren, Jessie (Kendall), Dylan (Shirley), Garrett (Andrea), Rana (Byron), Julie, Troy, Chase (Simone) of Corbin, B. J., Bailey (Sonja), Tenille (Kieran), Chad (Natalie), Leilani (Ash) of Ashley, D. J., Geordie, Taylor (Mike), Kali, Max, Keiran and Aiden; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Emerson, Wyatt, Brady, Theoren, Nolan, Doran, Renai, Finley, Savannah, Tayshaun, Santana, Sage, Byron, Raynebow, Brody, Jack, Alayna, Langely, Brice, Owen, Taylor, Keedon, Asher, Elijah, Amelia, Logan, Payton, Reyez, Winnie, Rex, Scarlett, Drew, Mikko, Rylee, Rope, Newt, Chesney, Bentley, Kinsler, Rhett and Romee Ann; and her extended family, Little Owls, Bird Rattlers and Derouches.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
A devout Catholic, Mary Ruth lived her faith daily, offering prayer and guidance to others, serving in the Catholic Women's League in Fort Macleod, donating to many charities, and giving decades of service to St. Paul's Catholic Church in Piikani.
