He was predeceased by : his wife Ellen May Bodgener; his sons, Ned and Don; his granddaughter Randi-Lynn; his great grandchild Grady; his grandson-in-law Stewart; and his brother Leonard.

He is survived by : his son Dennis (Cheryl); his daughters-in-law, Denise and Susan; his grandchildren, Dustin, Cody (Maggie), Travis (Tella), Wade (Jaycee), Carrie (Mark), Kristy (DJ) and Lucas (Kristen); and his sister-in-law Eede.
