He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hamilton of Fort Macleod; his children, Daryn Murfitt (Danna), Darcy Murfitt (Danette) and Cheryl Chinook (Darrell); and his sister Myrtle Schmidt. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
