He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Lewis and Ethel Lewis; his nephew Wyatt Lewis; his great-nephew Tristan; his in-laws, Don and Vera Caldwell; and his brothers-in-law, Ron and Calvin Caldwell.

He is survived by: his cousin Ron; his wife Heather; his children, Erin (Lorne Morrical) and Craig; his brothers, Ken (Marilyn) and Garnet (Angie); his sister-in-law Lena Caldwell; and his stepmother Keitha Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
