He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Thompson and Clarence Thompson; his brothers, Mark Thompson and Dennis McKenzie; and his friend Doug Boehlke.
He is survived by: his significant other Glenna; his children, Chris (Nikki) and Tanya (Keith); and his grandchildren, Evan (Gwen), Gabe, Nate and Charlee.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
