Duane leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Duane’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Duane will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Baumgartner and Ethel Baumgartner; and his wife Debra Baumgartner. He is survived by: his siblings, Vivian Baumgartner (Patsy), Rita Dunn, Kevin Baumgartner, Rick Baumgartner (Denis), Mark (Angie), Jim Baumgartner (Tammy) and Janice Baron (Dwayne). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
