She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Henke and Elsie Henke; her husband Gerhard Schnell; her sister Bonnie Brown; her siblings-in-law, Erika Martin, William Bilko, Gordon Martin, Garth Nichols and Earl Brown; her nephews, Joel Nichols and Peter Martin; and her niece Karen Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Schnell (Holly), Marlene Rayner (Brian), Rick Schnell (Heather) and Karen Stephens (Barry); her grandchildren, Nicole Liddle (Allan), Craig Schnell (Tara), Kelyn King (Steve), Aron Rayner (Jessica), Troy Rayner (Courtney), Sydney Schnell (Jeff) and Taylor Schnell (Elizabeth); her sister Beverly Nichols; and her sister-in-law Dora Bilko. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (5501 54 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
