She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Peterson; her grandson John Peterson; her son-in-law Martin Halland; and her parents, William Aide and Maggie Aide.

She is survived by: her children, Louis (Marlene), Leigh Halland, Joe (Evelyn), Patti Sinclair (Pat), Kathleen Hileman (Richard) and Ken (Rhonda). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and their spouses; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made online to Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) in Ponoka or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
