It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helmut Schmidt of Ponoka, Alberta, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Schatz; his daughter Sabine; his son-in-law Dan McDougall; his grandson Max Hall; and his sister Hilde Feldberg. He is also survived by her family; as well as extended family and friends.
