He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius and Rica; and his siblings, Alida (Ollie), Cora, Casey, Mary, Paul, Ann, John, Gerry and Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Randy (Doris), Russell (Mary-Ann), Sandy (Doug) and Gerry (Marie-Paule); his grandchildren, Jeffery (Rachelle), Blain (Jacquie), Samantha, Candice (Marchiano), Caleb (Chantal Teddi), Jasmine, Fabien, Eric (Kenzie), Sonia and Danielle; and his brother Tim Vandersteen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Ponoka F.C.S.S. or the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society are welcomed.
