We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2018, at the age of 79, James Hastie (Ponoka, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, David and Anne; and his brother-in-law John. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Theresa Jones (Greg) and Paul Hastie (Janelle); his grandchildren, Caitlin Jones (Ryan Herbach), Tristan Jones (Tessa), Madison Hastie (Pulkit Arora) and Kiegan Hastie; his great grandchildren, Maia, Nathan and Wesley; his sister Jean; his uncle Neil (Wilma); and his sister-in-law Norma.

If friends or family desire, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre.
