She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Lauer and Martha Lauer. She is survived by: her husband Ernest "Ernie" Groom; her daughters, Pam Groom (Alf Petkau) and Jody Halbert (Brian); her siblings, Mike Lauer, Lynda and Eddie; and her children, Kelly and Kim. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
