It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Dorothy Petterson of Ponoka, Alberta, born in Coronation, Alberta, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Russell Petterson; her parents, George Easton and Georgette Easton; and her sisters, Erma, Lola and Ellen.

She is survived by : her children, Terry Lynn (Jim) of Okotoks, Gregory Brent (Shirley) and Garth Russell (Joanne); her great grandchildren, Sierra, Ellie and James; and her siblings, Loreene Coghlan and John Easton (Joan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joyce would encourage donations to the Food Bank; the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society; and Family & Community Support Services.
