It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Jane Burghardt (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto and Lydia; and her siblings, Irene, Irv and Harvey.

She is survived by: her children, Colleen (Neil), Rhonda (Frank) and Randy; her grandchildren, Chris, Amy, Michelle, Jessica, Curtis, Ashley, Liam, Kaylin, Kendra and Karissa; and her great grandchildren, Ali, Hayden, Charlie, Sarah and Megan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
