She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Massing and Margaret Massing; her brother-in-law Rick Barkwell; her mother-in-law Myrtle Wing; her sister-in-law Ida Campbell; her nephews, Kevin Barkwell and Brian Barkwell; and her former husband John Pyret.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sisters, Margaret Mary Barkwell and Elizabeth Bonneville (Richard); her children, Blair Pyret (Jan Ingram), Joanne Wilton (Pat), Miles Pyret (Sandie), Norman Wing and Brenda Lien; her grandchildren, Devon Pyret (Raelene), Brianne Pyret (Brent Kinley), Ashley Street (Shawn), Douglas Wilton, Shawn Wilton, Shelbey Merrill, Braeden Merrill (Lucia Urblikova) and Sydney Pyret-Desserre (Dustin); and her great grandchildren, Jessa, Zaylex, Ryker, Kane, Wyatt, Katie, Cassidy and Leah.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
