Norman Noel Strause Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Noel Strause of Ponoka, Alberta, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Raymond (Ray) and Sophia Priscella Strause (Ella Blake); his siblings, Donald, Gloria, Gary, Murray and Jean; and his son Val Strause (Texas Longhorn Cattle).
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Strause (Cummings); his daughter Jodi Wood (Frank); his daughter-in-law Wendy Adam (Dwayne); and his granddaughters, Brittany Watkins (Tyson), Kassandra Spruyt (James), Rebecca Walline (Brendan), Brynne Wood and Jenna Wood. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka and District Health Foundation: Palliative Care Unit.
