With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Edward Mieske (Ponoka, Alberta), born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his sister Judi McCoy; and his parents, Anne Mieske and Rupert Mieske (Mickey). He is survived by: his spouse Bonny Mieske; his children, Kerri Johnston (Scott Johnston) and Christopher Mieske (Kelly Mieske); and his grandchildren, Hale Johnston, Nicholas Johnston, Lilly Mieske and Kai Mieske.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ma-Me-O Beach Community Hall (605 2 Ave, Ma-Me-O Beach, AB T0C 1X0).
