It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Audrey Cartwright of Ponoka, Alberta, born in Hardwood Ridge, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred Fidler and Eva Fidler; her siblings, Betty, Gloria, Robert (Bob) and William (Bill); and her grandson Daniel Luft.
She is survived by : her children, Dale Cartwright-McLeod, Richard Cartwright (Jinny Park), Gloria Luft (Kevin) and Jeffery Cartwright; her grandchildren, Katie Richter (Kris), Ryan Luft (Kimberly Spielman), Brian Joseph McLeod, Timothy Luft, Christen Runzer (Vern), Brett Luft (Christine Jensen), Richard Park and William Park; her great grandchildren, Sutton Richter, Amelia Runzer, Sloane Richter, Jackson Luft and Clara Runzer; her stepgranddaughters, Natasha Tetreau and Stacie Delaney; and her sister June Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Thelma's memory are gratefully accepted to the Ponoka & District Health Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
