It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Docken of Ponoka, Alberta, who passed away on May 4, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vera Docken to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her father Robert Grierson; her former life partner Eldon Maerz; her mother Vivian; her sister Hazel; and her son Wade.

She is survived by : her daughter-in-law Nadine; and her siblings, Bob Grierson (Georgie), Larry Wolansky (Karen), Ron Wolansky (Michelle), Brenda Rufiange (Leonard) and Bonnie Fines (Mike). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; as well as many great friends and relatives.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations in Vera's name are gratefully accepted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
