He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Merrill and Elsie Merrill; and his wife Annette. He is survived by: his close friend Maureen; his daughter Arlene (Brad); his grandson Taylor; his daughter Cheri-Lynn; his stepdaughter Alanna (Gordon); his granddaughter Melissa; his stepdaughter Angie (Ray); his grandchildren, Jacob and Ayla; his siblings, Carol, Jack and Kathy (Ed); and his siblings' children, Devon, Sean, Peter, Tony, Jason and Darcey. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
