It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendalyne Humphreys (Ponoka, Alberta), who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reginald Johnson and Norrean Johnson; her sister-in-law Laurie Mielke; and her nephew Trent Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Darrel; her children, Darrnelle and Sheldon; her grandchildren, Richard Larche, Stephanie Humphreys (Michael Smith), Steven Larche and Alexandria Humphreys; her great grandchild Emrysse Smith; her brothers, Terry Johnson (Rose) and Barry Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Garry Humphreys and Rochelle Humphreys. She is also survived by auntie Glady's; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ponoka Funeral Home (5115 50 Ave, Ponoka, AB T4J1R5).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Wendy's name are gratefully accepted and can be made to the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society or any charity of your choice.
