Allan Leslie Akre Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Leslie Akre of Provost, Alberta, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Akre and Agnes Akre; his sister Lorraine Akre; his son Brian; his former life partner Jean Kadilak; his son Darren; his brothers-in-law, Robert Anderson and George Kadilak; and his mother-in-law Elizabeth Kadilak.

He is survived by : his sister Helena Anderson; his daughter Laurie (Dave); his wife Sybil Akre; his granddaughters, Janelle and Shayna (Taydo); his stepdaughter Paula Lindquist (Eric); his stepgrandchildren, Matthew and Leah; his sister-in-law Vicky Kadilak; his niece Debbie McGetrick; and his great-nieces, Jenny and Trish. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Saviour's Cemetery or the Canadian Lung Association.
