As Beryl departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Beryl. Though Beryl may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Backer and Zella Backer; her son Charles; her grandson Craig Ward; her siblings, Byron and Berene; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Jardine and Mary Lou Backer.
She is survived by: her husband Lenard; her children, Sandra Schuetzle (Glenn) and Calvin Ward (Donna); her sister Bernetta; and her brother-in-law Lowell Day. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Provost Recreation & Cultural Centre (5113 43 St, Provost, AB T0B3S0).
