It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Degenstien (Provost, Alberta), born in Macklin, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Pauline Degenstien. He is survived by : his father Joe Degenstien; his son Shawn; his stepdaughters, Laurie, Tina and Judy; and his siblings, Barb, Patricia (Herb), Tom (Joan), Robert (Cathy), John (Denalda) and Mervin (Andrea). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
