He is survived by: his spouse Shirley May Neitz; his daughters, Lorraine Jackson (Duane), Melanie Sommerfeldt (Don), Tammy Lestage, Julie Olsen (Darian), Elizabeth Van Ee (Ray), Kathryn Stastny (Vince) and Ashley McMurrin; his grandson David Sommerfeldt; his siblings, Donald Kay Sommerfeldt (Melanie) and Patricia Tanner (Ken); his sister-in-law Pauline Sommerfeldt; and his grandchildren, Jade Hart (Greg), Garrett Jackson (Akosua), Caleb Jackson (Leah), Hailey Jackson (Wes), Cheyenne Jackson (Adler), Sierra Jackson (Nick), Amanda Pressgrove (Hank), Kacee Anderson (Tom), Jake Sommerfeldt (Hanna), Ty Sommerfeldt, Kael Lestage, Meagan Olsen, Caelin Olsen, Ethan Olsen, Samantha Olsen (Jamal), Roderic Van Ee, Anyanka Van Ee, Vaclav, Alzbeta "Beta" Stastny, Invictus Stastny, Sadee McMurrin, Logan McMurrin and Eli McMurrin.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the LDS Stake Centre (2 N 200 W, Raymond, AB T0K2S0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
