In the vast expanse of eternity, Gerald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gerald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Litchfield and Minnie Litchfield (Burrows). He is survived by: his children, Mark Litchfield (Jo-Lynn) of Lethbridge, Sharon Heath (David) of Calgary, Gayle McIntyre of Barnwell and Bryan Litchfield (Laurie) of Lethbridge; and his sisters, Josephine Winterton (Jim) of Provo, Utah and Maureen Baird (Bob) of Anaheim, California.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 44 greatgrandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home (703 - 13 Street North, Lethbridge, AB T1H2T2). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Taylor Street Chapel (221N 400 W, Raymond, AB T0K2S0).
