He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Judith Vayro (Larry), Peggy Brown (Harold), Linda Peterson (Ken), Eric Erickson (Ardyth), Thomas Erickson (Ketena), Leif Erickson (Helen) and Kathy Gibb (Rob); his parents, Alif Dehlin Erickson and Ruby Stevens Erickson; and his siblings, William Reed and Roberta Dahl (Larry). He was also cherished by 32 grandchildren, 104 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
