She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Erickson and Mildred Erickson; her brother Herb Erickson; and her son Doug Bassett. She is survived by: her son Greg Bassett (Tracy); her grandchildren, Rick Bassett (Kerry), Sara Szentes (Chris) and Mason Bassett (Christine); her sisters, Audrey Walker (Ross), Arlene Ell, Marge Rinkel (Casey), Nora Revak, Linda Herbst (Allan) and Donna Block (Ray); and her sister-in-law Audrey Erickson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Salmon and Sons Funeral Home (433 Stubb Ross Rd, Lethbridge, AB T1K7N3).
