Berend Van Essen Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 22, 2025, at the age of 84, Berend Van Essen in Red Deer, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambertus Essen and Johanna Van Essen. He is survived by: his wife Gerda Velsink; his children, Gary (Dee), Robert (Jodi), Cathy (Dave) and Suzanne (Randy); and his siblings, Dini (Andy), Wilma, John (Joyce) and Bert (Bertha). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
