She is survived by: her children, Rod Mickelberry (Vienxgay), Darlene Spicer, Kevin Mickelberry (Monica) and Karen Peden (Tom). She is also survived by extended family, including her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Betty also volunteered for the Festival of Trees and at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, where she knitted hats for newborn babies, donating hundreds over the years.
