With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Alan McIlhargey (Red Deer, Alberta), born in Regina, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 14, 2024 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by : his parents, Keith (Red Deer) and Margaret; and his daughter Kelsey. He is survived by : his wife Cindy; his children, Katrina and Keith; his grandsons, Emerson and Alexander; and his siblings, Patrick (Patricia) and MaryLynne. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eventide Funeral Home (4820 45 St, Red Deer, AB T4N1K5). Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the West Meadows Cemetery (4001 60 St, Benalto, AB T0M0H0). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
