He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his son Lory; his sister Helen Schumacher; his granddaughter Tina; and his great grandchild Breanna.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald Wardner (Joan) of Red Deer and Launa Gordon (Don); his grandchildren, Amanda, Angela (Joe), Amy (Brad), Lyndsy (Donavan), Tyler and Cody (Eva); and his great grandchildren, Bradley, Taliah, Christopher, Charlie, Edwin, Kennedy, Anders, Taylor and Reese.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Red Deer Hospice Society.
