He was predeceased by: his sons, Jack Rodney Scott and Bradley Wade Scott. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Dorothy Scott; his children, Debbie Lawson (Richard Lawson), Danny Scott (Karen Scott) and Dennis Scott (Linda Scott); his grandchildren, Tyrel Johnston, Ashely Johnston, Matt Scott, Jake Scott, Kara Scott, Luke Scott, Rhett Scott, Amy Scott, Kevin Scott and Cody Scott; and his great grandchildren, Kanan Johnson, Jackson Kroetsch and Jordyn Kroetsch.
