She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Calkins and Louis Calkins; her husband Donald Ferguson; her stepfather Charles Keil; her siblings, Darlene McNaughton and Stewart Calkins; and her son Randy Olson.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Burton of Brandon and Gregory Olson of Elmvale, Ontario. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium (6287 67a St, Red Deer, AB T4P3V9). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.
