It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mogens Sander of Red Deer, Alberta, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Grete; and his son-in-law Dwayne Hoopfer. He is survived by: his children, Ann Hoopfer, Liz Smith (Bob) and Alan Sander; his grandchildren, Shane Hoopfer (Debbie), Travis Hoopfer (Richelle), Kirstin Smith (Lee Caissey), Cody Smith (Jessica), Lee Sander and Erica Sander (Russ Beairsto); his great grandchildren, Michael Hoopfer, Xander, Kam, Erik and Danika Hoopfer; and his grandchildren, Sophie, Jacob Smith, Alistair and Tamzin Sander-Beairsto.
