Richard left this world on March 17, 2026 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Quirico and Clare Quirico; his spouse Alex Fitzgerald; his stepson Adain Fitzgerald; his sister Donna Quirico; and his nephew James "Jimmy" Christensen.
He is survived by: his son Vince Quirico of Calgary; and his siblings, Mark Quirico of Edmonton, Darrel Quirico of Sylvan Lake, Brent Quirico of Red Deer, Douglas Quirico of Red Deer and Jeannie Quirico of Red Deer. He is also survived by his two grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
