With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Lodewyk in Red Deer, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eise Lodewyk and Minke Lodewyk; and his brother Clarence. He is survived by: his wife Sharyn; his children, Julie (Hendrik) of Gier, Elisa Aasman (Paul) and Evan; his grandchildren, Paige (Josh), Tyrel, Sydnie, Katie, Conor, Olivia, Caleb, Harry and Jada; his siblings, Henry (Brenda), Jean (Don), Claudia (Roger), Liz (David), Bill (Rolanda) and Sid (Trish); and his sister-in-law Jeralyn. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
