He is survived by : his wife Jean (Hilfer); his daughter Michelle (Eric Knutsen); his grandchildren, Willow and Xander; his stepson Kim Hilfer; and his sisters, Anna Marie Hunik, Faye Smith and Ann Walisser (Alphonse).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eventide Funeral Home (4820 45 St, Red Deer, AB T4N1K5).
