With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shane Ballantyne (Red Deer, Alberta), who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Thekla Ballantyne and Donald Ballantyne; his siblings, Donne (Carol), Stacey (Judy) and Tamara; his children, Colby, Dakota, Trystan and Arianna; and his nieces, Andrea, Jayde and Savannah. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
