She was predeceased by: her daughter Kirsten Allison Lyn Denney; her stepfather Eric Bryer; her father Ken Carlson; and her sister Rebecca Lynn Carlson. She is survived by: her sister Monica Sagan (Neil); her siblings' children, Cali, Ella and Noah Sagan; her brother Kevin Carlson (Krista); and her siblings' children, Donovan and Cameron Carlson.
