With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherry Elaine Carlson in Red Deer, Alberta, born in Rimbey, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 50. As Sherry departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sherry may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sherry leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Kirsten Allison Lyn Denney; her stepfather Eric Bryer; her father Ken Carlson; and her sister Rebecca Lynn Carlson. She is survived by: her sister Monica Sagan (Neil); her nieces and nephews, Cali, Ella and Noah Sagan; her brother Kevin Carlson (Krista); and her nieces and nephews, Donovan and Cameron Carlson.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5508 48a Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N3V6).
