As Suzanna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Suzanna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Suzanna leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Ineke Machnee, Piet Langstraat and Sue Merry; her grandchildren, Colin Langstraat, Aaron Langstraat, Corvid Merry and Lee Merry; and her siblings, Elaine Herfst, Hendrik Herfst and Bert Herfst.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium (6287 67a St, Red Deer, AB T4P 3V9).
