He was predeceased by : his parents, Cecil Barker and Clara Barker; his siblings, Frank Barker and Joyce Poole; and his sister-in-law Ann Barker.

He is survived by : his wife Elaine Barker; his children, Deanna Shea (Greg), Travis Barker (Denise) and Cheryl Barker (Matt Pitts); his grandchildren, Keenan Barker, Chloe Shea (Colton), Trey Barker (Jo), Kelsey Shea and Kaleb Smith; and his siblings, Shirley Polson, Gordon Barker and Muriel Walkey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sylvan Lake Legion.
