He was predeceased by : his father George R. Jaap; and his brother Shannon Hamilton. He is survived by : his mother Betty Jaap; his siblings, Diane Hamilton (Weldon Mundle) and Robert Jaap (Martinna); his nieces and nephews, Dylan Hamilton, Jaydyn Lovelace, Brady Povey, Tianna Smith, Ayla Jaap and Ada Jaap; his great-niece Maya; and his great-nephew Otto.
