He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Olafson and Narfi; and his brother Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his children, James and Lisa (Álvaro Ramos); his grandchildren, Dylan, April, Lúa, Easton, Kai and Emily; his great grandchildren, Hailey and Ivey; and his sister Carole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
