He was predeceased by: his brother Mark Arik; his godmother Gizella Anna Vaczy; and his mother-in-law Betty Cyr. He is survived by: his parents, Eugene Arik and Irene Arik; his daughter Cherie Arik; his former wife Judy Cyr; his grandchildren, Marcus and Sophia Arik; his siblings, Eugene Arik (Tracery), John Arik (Margaret), Judy Arik and Tammy Harper (Skip); his sister-in-law Louise Arik; and his father-in-law Charlier Cyr.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cassils Community Centre.
