She was predeceased by : her husband Gotlieb "Gus" Nitz; her parents, Valentine Bischoff and Pauline Bischoff; her sister Evelyn Kobley (Mike); and her daughter-in-law Charlene Nitz.
She is survived by : her children, Darlene Tessman (David) of Medicine Hat, AB, Brenda Rose (Bill) of Vernon, BC, Dean Nitz of Medicine Hat, AB, Charlene (John Grona) of Strathmore, AB and Mary Seitz (Steve) of Medicine Hat, AB; her granddaughters, Lynn Wells (Jonas), Erin Straarup (Jason), Michele Dakin (Cameron), Shauna Rose, Darnyll Nitz-Jacober (Lance), Shareen Nitz, Christa Grona (Mike), Kayla Grona (Nathaniel), Lisa Crawford (Josh) and Stephanie Seitz-Akehurst (Sam); her great grandchildren, Jonah, Kaylem, Ryler, Avery, Ashlyn, Austin, Aeon, Zaidin, Ethan and Leigh; and her sisters, Georgina Stenger (Morris) and Annie Sackman (Harvey). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
