It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Akers (Redcliff, Alberta), born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, who passed away on July 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Alan. She is survived by : her family Alan; her children, Kristin Weighill (Brian) and David Akers (Veronica); her grandchildren, Samantha, Carter, Charlie, Tristan, Elizabeth and Annabelle; her sisters, Sharon Kirvan and Sheila McFadzen (Dwayne); and her brother-in-law George Akers (Jeanette). She is also survived by her grandchildren as well as hosting her many friends.
