With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Nimchuk of Redwater, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his parents, Joe Nimchuk and Katheline Nimchuk; and his sisters, Cecilia McLean and Jean Evers.
He is survived by: his son Curtis Nimchuk (Dawn Duff) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; his grandchild Chelsey Douglas (Scott); his great grandchild Oliver (Molly Nimchuk); his daughter Lee-Ann Gaalaas (Nathan Wey) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; his grandchildren, Ronnie Gaalaas and Avery Gaalaas (Blaine McFarland); and his sisters, Carol Mytrash (Don) of Cochrane, AB and Lorraine Wilson (Don) of Sherwood Park, AB..
