It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Lafond of Redwater, Alberta, who passed away on November 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Lionel Lafond; her parents, Edmond Paquette and Flore Paquette; and her siblings, Emilie Laitres, Annette Henri, Alice Ruel, Adrienne Henri, Rosaire, Albert, Rock, Urbain and Leo.

She is survived by : her children, Claude Lafond (Tracy) of Redwater, Donald Lafond (Juanita Roy) of Bonnyville, Onile Lafond of Bonnyville, Aline Hrycauk (Glen) of Bonnyville, Suzanne Antoniuk (Roger) of Bonnyville, Paulette Coleman (Terry) of Bonnyville and Colette Dechaine (Raymond) of Bonnyville; her grandchildren, Natalie Amyotte (Pat), Michelle Nassif (Alex), Stephanie Severin (Scott), Jay Lafond (Hailey), Derek Antoniuk (Shaylene), Jordan Antoniuk, Kurtis Antoniuk, Renée Antoniuk, Kristen Antoniuk, Jacelyn Antoniuk, Jennifer Strome, Keithen Coleman (Reese), Bryton Coleman, Janelle Coleman, Zoé Lafond, Olivia Lafond, Naomi Dechaine, Noah Dechaine and Sophie Dechaine; her stepgrandchildren, Brad Pearson and Lindsey Pearson; and her great grandchildren, Dorielle, Ethan, Jada, Marabel, Adelaide, Abygael, Amelia, Peighton, Carson, Sawyer and Lennox.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, with Father Rene Realuyo as Celebrant.
