With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evie Andrew (Rimbey, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Evie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Haarstad and Edward Haarstad. She is survived by: her husband Walter Andrew; her children, Lorrie Judson (Neil) of Eckville, Ron Andrew (Karen) of Eckville, Janice Murphy (Allen) of Eckville and Deb Engman (Greg) of Eckville; her sister Shirley Christensen; and her sister-in-law Helen Andrew. She is also survived by Her family has grown to include 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Eckville Community Centre (5315 52 St, Eckville, AB T0M0X0).
